The magnificent mosque of Mohammed Ali was built using alabaster taken from the pyramids of Giza. It was established between 1830 and 1848 BC to be a perfect replica of ottoman artistic architecture. The mosque can be seen from any place in Cairo which features an animated silhouette and twin minarets.
One of the greatest monuments found in old Cairo is the glorious National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) which was created in 2020 to shed light on the 7000 years old historical heritage of the greatest civilization on earth.
