Giza Pyramids Complex

That marvelous city is famous for its Giza pyramids complex that contains some of the most wonderful ancient Egyptian monuments including the famous royal mortuary & sacred structures. You will find there the great Pyramid of Khufu, and the marvelous pyramids of Khafre & Menquare.

The Great Pyramid

The magical Giza Pyramid is the crown jewel of Egypt which was established for Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) by his brilliant vizier Henmiunu to become his final resting place that was made in 2570 BC and pierced the skies to become the tallest creation on earth which reached 138.5 meters (454.4 ft). All the sides of the pyramid are able to face the cardinal points of the compass and the pyramid is the only standing wonder out of all the seven wonders of the ancient world.

The Great Sphinx

Giza Sphinx was built during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) and it is believed that the sphinx was built to link the pharaoh with the Sun god. Tourists really love taking photos of that mythical sculpture and know the whole story behind its construction. Dream Steele of Thutmose IV (1401–1391 BC) was created and put in 1401 BC to narrate the mythical tale and influence of this great figure.

Pharaohs Amenhotep III, Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and other great leaders were the ones responsible for the construction of such an amazing site completed in 1400 BC and that is why it was considered by the ancient Egyptians, the most important religious site for them. The incredible rejuvenation of the kingship concept was embodied across the temple, the Opet festival was held in the temple, and many great kings were crowned in the temple.

Colossi of Memnon

Among the most wonderful achievements of king Amenhotep III is his marvelous Colossi of Memnon that are two seated statues representing the Pharaoh himself and the reason of constructing them was to guard the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) which were created in 1350 BC and was unfortunately destroyed and those two statues are the last remaining part of the complex.

Hatshepsut Temple

It is going to be such a wonderful experience for our senior guests to explore the real magic during their visit to Hatshepsut temple and learn about the golden heritage of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) that is the closest temple to the classical architecture in Egypt and it represents the fascinating funerary architecture of the New Kingdom. It was completed in 1479 BC to honor the creator god Amun and eternalize her many achievements. 

Edfu Temple

This is one of the most notable monuments in Edfu City and it was dedicated to god Horus The Falcon-headed God . Edfu temple is also recognized as being the most well-preserved and beautiful temple in Egypt which date back to the Ptolemaic times between 237 BC and 57 BC. The temple was built on the mythical sight that held the magical battle that took place between Horus and his evil uncle set.

Kom Ombo Temple

This incredible Kom Ombo temple is located around 48 km north Aswan and it was mainly constructed during the Greco-Roman period between 180 BC and 47 BC. What makes that temple a really unique one is that it is actually a double temple; one of them is dedicated to Sobek and the other one is dedicated to Horus. It is able to convey a lot of facts and information about the skills and tools of ancient Egyptian doctors.
